Hello all from Venice, Italy. Don't you just love the internet? We are thousand of miles away and yet we can still update you on what we are doing.
We left Houston at 6:30 pm yesterday (23rd) and arrived in Paris at around 10:30 am(Paris time). We were suppose to get on the 12:35 flight to Venice but Air France sucks and overbooked the flight so we were bumped to the 3:25 flight. Sucked that we had to sit in the airport for 3 extra hours but they did give us a voucher for $500 euros...so that was some nice extra money we weren't expecting. Still I don't recommend Air France for any of your international travels.
When we finally got to Venice around 7:00 pm (Venice time) today we have just been walking around taking in the sites and the culture. It is so neat to see how different they live here. Matt mentioned that they walk every where and congragate basically in the middle of the street. It is pretty cool, everybody's out socializing.
Our hotel is nice the only bummer is no elevator so we have to go up 4 flights of stairs...maybe we'll lose some weight =). We are excited to see what an Italian breakfast is like in the morning.
That's it for now we have a very busy day ahead of us. Well try to post again later this week when we get to Rome.

We saw the new James Bond...Casino Royale the other day and some of it was shot in Venice. It made me want to go back there SO badly! So Romantic!
Hey Emily...I need an update and HAVE to see pictures. Some of us have to live vicariously through our friends! Hope that you had fun...a glad to know that the food was delicious!
