Adalyn Update

I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas season so far. I can't believe Christmas is Sunday!

As you know Adalyn had a pretty lengthy stay in the hospital over the Thanksgiving holiday. Since that hospital visit she has had some tests ran and we have discovered that she has severe kidney reflux as well as some other kidney issues. Therefore, she will be having surgery this Thursday at 12:45 to correct these issues.

This surgery will be approximately 2 1/2 hrs and is fairly routine. She should be able to go home the next day so we will be home for Christmas. While no one likes the idea of surgery we know it is what's best for her and will hopefully relieve some of the uncomfortableness she has been feeling.

We are nervous (as any parent would be with their child having surgery) but know that the Lord will wrap his arms around Adalyn and give her a quick and painless recovery. We know that He will be in that operating room with her and with the doctors the entire time.

All we need right now is you to help cover her in prayer on Thursday. I will post an update after her surgery to let you all know how she is doing.
