Meet the Teacher

Carter had an exciting night last night, he got to meet his Kindergarten teacher.  He was a little nervous but overall very excited. 

His teacher is Mrs. Brown and he will be a "Brown Bear". She has been teacher for 19 years and seems really sweet.  When we were leaving a PTA mom asked us who his teacher was and we said Mrs. Brown and she said that was both of her kids teacher and she is great. Her son who will be in 3rd grade was standing there and he said that Mrs. Brown was really nice and he really liked her. It made me feel good to hear that.

When we got there, Mrs. Brown had a folder with his name and paperwork for us to fill out and review. Then all the kids went to play and she talked to all the parents.

 

 

 

Then the kids came back in and Mrs. Brown read them a book and gave them a goodie bag plus a note to read on Sunday night.

 

 

Carter did so good sitting there listening nicely to the book. I just know he is going to do great!

 

 I still can't believe he will be in Kindergarten on Monday and I am nervous for him, but I think he will love it.  I pray Mrs. Brown is the perfect teacher for him and that they build a special bond as he goes through Kinder.
