Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween weekend!  It was busy and a little crazy but the kids had so much fun and we have candy to last for years!!

Friday started off with the costume competition at my office. It gets intense around there and we always have so much fun that day. My department was "Vegas". We came in third but still had a great time.

Friday afternoon Adalyn had a speech therapy evaluation. Good news is she does not need speech therapy at this time.  While her speech is delayed it is not a-typical for her age and she is still within the normal range. If she does not improve in a year, they said to bring her back to have her evaluated again.
Selfies while we wait

Friday night of course was trick-or-treating. Mom and Dad came over to hand out candy while we took the kids around. It was actually cold which was nice but I also think it caused the kids to not want to be out as long. We only hit up a few houses and then headed home to hand out candy.  It felt like there weren't as many trick-or-treaters this year but still had a lot of fun!

Mom and Dad even dressed up.

Our sweet neighbor Heather. She is a Freshman and this was her first year to not trick-or-treat so she had fun watching our kiddos.

Notice Brooklyn peeking in the window. She did that at almost every house that had side windows.

Saturday Carter had a soccer game and it was very excited because he scored his first goal ever! He actually score two that game. He was so excited and we were so proud of him. He is doing really good in soccer and has improved so much over last season!  I didn't take a picture but wanted to at least document it!

Overall it was a great weekend and now I guess it's time to start thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas, eeek!
