Kicked off the month with July 4th weekend. On Saturday the 1st we went to the Rough Riders game and were able to watch from the lazy river. It was super fun and they had a great fireworks show. ON the 4th we kept it pretty low key by just having our folks over for lunch and dinner and then fireworks in the backyard. We did drive over to the elementary school to watch the Craig Ranch fireworks but I didn't get any pictures.
Then a few days later we celebrated Matt's birthday. It fell on a Saturday this year so we spent the first half of the day with the kiddos and then that evening we had several of Matt's co-workers come over for dinner and a riveting game of cards against humanity. It was great fun!
Finally, we ended the month with our annual Mexico trip with our good friends. Matt and I LOVE this trip because it is a great time to recharge away from the kids and spend time with our besties who we love. Already looking forward to next year!
