January, February, March

So this is going to be a long post because I am severely behind on posting.  We are going to do a 3 month catch-up so bare with me.

January was a pretty low key month. Matt and I rang in the new year with dinner with friends. It was pretty low key night and I'll confess we were home and in bed before midnight but that was perfectly fine with us.

We had a day of "snow" one Saturday. It was really just ice and only lasted for about an hour in the morning but the kids had a great time. We got to see real snow a few months later....see March update. :)

Big news is my baby boy got braces! He looks so grown up. He did a great job and has adjusted to them well.  We probably have at least 18 months to go.

February was the annual Daddy Daughter Dance which the girls look forward to every year. They love to get dressed up and feel so special going to a fancy dinner and dance with their Daddy.  He is such a good sport and hopefully creating great memories for the girls.

March was super busy but super fun. Over spring break we went skiing in Winter Park, CO with the Strickland. It was a BLAST!  The kids loved to ski and we loved playing in the snow and spending time with our best friends.

We went tubing, built a snowman and igloo, played lots of games, ate delicious food and enjoyed each others company. On Wednesday when we were there, we got 16" of snow so we spend the whole day in our PJs inside playing games, watching movies, chatting and napping.
