July and August

As far as COVID, July and August seemed to lighten up a bit but the new normal was mask, no large events or gathering and no travel.  

July was pretty low key other than we celebrated Matt's 40th!  We swam at Jayme's with the family and enjoyed a small family party at home. 

In August my baby turned 12! I can't believe he is getting so big! Unfortunately due to COVID he couldn't have a birthday party. We did do a drive by with family and friends. 

Then on August 13th the kids officially started school - virtually.  They had 3 weeks of virtual before going back in person.

We were able to sneak out for a quick adult night to celebrate birthdays. It was really one of the first times we had been out in public since the pandemic started. 

On Sept. 2 my twinkies turned 9!  They are getting so big. We celebrated at home with family.

They finally got to go back to school face to face after being out since March of 2020. They were so excited to see their friends!

We ended Sept. with a local get away with our besties. It was night to have one night away with friends.
