You need snow

My converstation with Carter yesterday when we got home....

Carter: "I wanna go build a snowman"
Me: "Baby, you have to have snow to build a snowman and it didn't snow today"
Carter: (very sadly) "No, I wanna go build a snowman"
Me: "We can't there is no snow. How about we go get the mail."
Carter: (with a big smile and running toward the front door) "Ok"

Apparently getting the mail is an acceptable replacement for building a snowman.
