Penny Lou Who

For some crazy reason we decided to get a dog.  Carter has asked for one a few times and we felt like he was getting old enough.  We rescued her from a shelter and named her Penny.  They think she is part beagle and part cocker spaniel but honestly we don't know. 

It has been an adventure so far to say the least.  The kids are warming up to her and she is warming up to them. They were all a little freaked out and unsure at first but I know it will get better with time, it already has.

She is really cute, but is a puppy so we are still working on going potty outside and not chewing on stuff.  I am hoping she will end up being a great dog and good friend to the kids.
