Merry Christmas 2014

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. The kids are at such a great age where they truly believe in the magic of Christmas and are so excited for Santa to visit.

We spent Christmas Eve at a candle light service and dinner with my family.

Then of course we had to spread Reindeer food in the front yard and set out cookies and milk for Santa. The kids were so excited they could hardly contain their excitement. They were jumping up and down on Carter's bed singing "Santa Clause is coming to town". To get them to go to bed was difficult to say the least but they finally settled down.

Cookies for Santa - can you tell they are excited!!

Christmas morning the kids woke up at 5:45 ready to see what Santa brought them. They were so excited and loved everything.  Some of my pictures are a little blurry because I could not get them to sit still long enough to take a picture.  I love that because I feel like it truly shows the feeling that was running through the room that morning!  Matt and I enjoyed so much watching the joy in their faces as they opened presents and explored what Santa brought them. It really does make all the work worth it.

Discovering Santa ate the cookie.

This year Carter got to shop at the Christmas store at his school. He was so proud of the presents he bought each of us.  He bought Matt a "dad" dog tag, me a angle, and the girls a flute and rings. He even bought Penny a bone. It was very sweet.

Carter asked for this Batman Robot and was so excited to see that Santa delivered.

We then headed to my folk house to get even more presents and eat lunch. After mom and dads we went to Daddy Paul's house to see Matt's extended family.

My mom and dad bought the girls tricycles and Carter a scooter. They loved them and were very excited about going to a ride.

After a few minutes Adalyn decided she was tired so she hitched a ride with Brooklyn.

Friday we went to Matt's parents to have Christmas with his folks, Jayme and Cody and his kids.  Michael and Donna were there as well which was nice to spend some time with them.

The kids had so much fun and got so many presents! We are truly blessed to have a wonderful Christmas with family.

Here's to a safe, happy, healthy and great 2015!
