April, May & June 2021

So still trying to catch up for 2021, so here we go.

April kicked off with Easter. It was nice to go back to church and celebrate with friends. Covid was still unknown so we had an outdoor service which was actually really nice.

Of course the Easter Bunny brought fun gifts.

Celebrating

It was also nice to be able to celebrate my birthday with friends. I love my tribe!

Carter had had his first band concert. It was so good and I may or may  not have teared up. He is getting so big.

We also celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary. We went back to Maguire's where he proposed.

May brought more fun with cooking classes, soccer and of course the end of the school year and start of summer!

Adalyn had been begging to go to a cooking class so I finally found one where we could go together. It was so much fun!

Soccer season was in full force in May. We love our Blue Thunder Team! Carter has been on this same team since he was 5 years old. I will be so sad when it ends.

We tried Adalyn on a new team. She played up with 4th graders. She did really well and held her own, but decided to move her back down to her own age in the fall.

Mother's Day was special with these three...I mean four. Penny made sure she was included in the photo.

School ended and we were excited for the summer!

My cousin's daughter Eliza had a graduation tea party and the girls were so excited to dress up and go.

We spent a lot of time at the neighborhood.

Brooklyn bridged from Brownies to Junior's. She is really loving Girl Scouts.

At the end of June we went to Colorado with our besties, the Stricklands.  As always we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the cool weather.  We tubed, zip lined and made smores by the fire.

And of course, June would not be complete without celebrating the best Daddy in the world!
